BroadFutures serves neurodivergent young people who are highly motivated and actively seek internship opportunities to advance their professional futures. Our programs combine paid internships with comprehensive training and personalized mentoring, creating a supportive space where our participants can grow and access their potential. 

2025 DC Internship Program Dates 

Winter 2025 DC Internship Program Dates: 1/27/25 – 4/18/25

  • Early Decision Deadline: October 4, 2024
  • Final Deadline: November 1, 2024

Summer 2025 DC Internship Program Dates: 6/09/25 – 8/08/25

  • Early Decision Deadline: January 24, 2025

Final Deadline: March 7, 2025

Our DC Internship Program supports employers seeking diverse, innovative teams in the DC Metropolitan area. With a 99% completion rate, 100% employer satisfaction, and 80% repeat partnerships, our track record underscores our commitment to excellence. 

Becoming a National Employer Partner

Designed to meet diverse employer needs, our National Internship Program can be incorporated into existing internship programs, Co-ops, or initiatives, or we can develop novel programs. Our national program boasts impressive outcomes, including a 100% intern completion rate, 100% employer satisfaction, and over a 70% conversion rate to full-time positions. Our model is designed for companies that are very early or in the middle of their journey including neurodivergent talent.

As a teacher and a mother of a child with learning differences, Susan knows personally how young people not only struggle in school but they also have difficulty moving into the job market. Carolyn Jeppsen and her team offer interns training in job readiness as well as monitoring their progress at the job site, which is extremely appealing to the companies and helps to alert students to issues that BroadFutures' hands on approach can address. This program helps interns succeed and provides talent for companies looking to increase their employment diversity. The results are overwhelmingly positive as seen in the success rate of their participants and growth of the program to date.
